"Whether you are a manager or a front-line worker, this book is a must read! The authors have a gift for taking the most advanced work in the field and translating it into very usable and constructive strategies for creating positive work and organizational experiences. We were captured from the very first illustration - an illustration that many have likely experienced. The practical strategies provided by Barker and Ceccanese provide readers with helpful tools to thrive in today's world of work. And for those of us who want to make a positive difference, this book delivers the needed steps. In our former lives as ‘front-line workers,’ so many of us would have appreciated these practical strategies to create and empower.

If you want to learn about positive organizational change, this is the book. If you want to learn about how you can create positive change, this is clearly the book! This is an important and especially timely book. The Toolboxes, whether for Staff or Managers, provide sound bites of practical wisdom. Even the actions at the end of each chapter offer suggested steps with useful timelines to encourage us to move from reading and reflecting, to action and outcome.  Read it, you will enjoy it, but more importantly, you will use it!!!"

"This book provides tools and practices to improve your work life and make sure you are thriving, not just surviving in the workforce.  The end result is to create a more positive life for yourself and those you serve!"
